Mark S Burnham Provincial Park.

While small and discreet from Highway 7 and you might even miss it if you're not watching for it.
This park is a great day use park with several trails, washrooms, and a picnic pavilion it's well equipped for a day trip.
While we didn't stay long we walked the shorter trail which was about a kilometer long, the trails were very well kept albeit muddy from the recent rains.
The park provided several information boards and signs explaining the wildlife and fauna in the area as well explaining the history of the park.
The cost of the park was $3 for parking and that allowed for 2 hours of visiting time which was more then ample.
The park is located at 846 Highway 7 just east of Peterborough Ontario.
If you're looking for a quick hike this is definitely the spot for you!
Always Outdoors.
